Disadvantages of the JTBA/JTBB engine
Due to the possibility of fires, cars with such engines were recalled twice; an electromagnetic clutch in a sophisticated cooling system caused a fire;
It leads the block after breaking through the cylinder head gasket due to even a minor overheating;
Oil leaks from beneath the valve cover have been reported by numerous owners; knocks under the hood suggest that the valve clearances need to be adjusted.
