The Volvo D4A140 engine is a 4-cylinder, 4-liter engine with in-line layout and 8-valve timing, located under the truck cab, has intercooled air, which allows to increase the efficiency of the engine and reduce the toxicity of exhaust gases.
Such motors are reliable, loved by owners of budget cars, simple and affordable in service and repair, compared to 16-valve ones. The transmission is mechanical 5-speed.
