Only the fifth generation of the Fiesta model or the Fusion compact van based on it were equipped with the 1.4-liter Ford F6JA, F6JB, or 1.4 Duratorq DLD-414 engine, which was manufactured between 2002 and 2008. The Peugeot-Citroen DV4TD diesel engine is essentially modified by this power unit.

DURATORQ-DLD Family:
1.4 TDCi – F6JA;
1.5 TDCi – UGJC;
1.6 TDCi – GPDA, G8DA;
1.8 TDCi – HCPA, FFDA, KKDA, QYWA.
The engine was installed on:
- Ford Fiesta Mk5 in 2002 – 2008;

Disadvantages of the F6JA/F6JB engine
The engine has high standards for diesel fuel quality.
After 100,000 kilometers, issues will arise if the fuel filter is changed on a regular basis; injectors typically break first, followed by other Common Rail parts; oil burn frequently starts at high mileage because of piston group wear;
Here, both the turbine and the power unit’s front support have limited resources.
