Produced between 2001 and 2011, the 1.25-liter Ford FUJA/FUJB or 1.25 Zetec SE engine was used in the fifth generation of the Fiesta hatchback and the Fusion compact van, which were built around it. These gasoline units were renamed Duratec following the switch to EURO 4 in 2004.

The Zetec SE line also includes internal combustion engines: FXJA, FYDA and MHA.
The engine was installed on:
- Ford Fusion Mk1 in 2002 – 2011;
- Ford Fiesta Mk5 in 2001 – 2008.

Disadvantages of the FUJA/FUJB engine
Candles and their coils break easily here, and the engine cannot handle poor fuel;
Low-quality gasoline causes the fuel pump filter to clog and malfunction;
The timing belt is supposed to last 120,000 kilometers, but it frequently fails much sooner;
Additionally, the power unit’s pillows and thermostat have a limited resource;
Since there are no hydraulic lifters, valves must be adjusted every 100,000 kilometers.
