Produced between 2009 and 2010, the 2.5-liter Ford JZDA or 2.5 Duratec RS and RS500 engine was fitted to charged versions of the second-generation Focus under the RS and RS500 indices. This is a significantly improved Volvo B5254T4 engine.

2.5 L – HUBA, HYDA, HYDB, HUWA, JZDA.
The engine was installed on:
- Ford Focus RS Mk2 in 2009 – 2010;

Disadvantages of the JZDA engine
The Internet does not have a lot of information about these uncommon motors’ malfunctions;
Engines in this series typically have crankcase ventilation contamination; oil will spill onto the belt if the PCV valve diaphragm is not changed in a timely manner; they dislike these units; poor fuel, candles, and coils wear out quickly;
Many owners express dissatisfaction over having to replace the turbine twice in 100,000 kilometers.
