Disadvantages of the AOWA engine
The oil burner is a well-known engine issue because of oil scraper rings; additionally, the dampers used to alter the intake manifold’s geometry frequently jam here;
Low-quality fuel frequently causes the fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator to malfunction;
The timing chain and phase regulator might already need to be replaced after 200,000 kilometers;
Additionally, the pipes of the crankcase ventilation system burst and the crankshaft rear oil seal frequently flows here.
